Endorsements:
“Suzanne Choo’s When Woke Goes Broke is informational and instructional. A ‘must read’. Woke is the fake oxygen of a new generation. Instead of nurturing the pursuit of true social justice, it slowly poisons us to extreme scepticism which ‘questions everything and believes in nothing’. Suzanne’s work is culturally incisive in her analysis. It is grounded in the Bible as she explores wokeism through the prism of the gospel and Jesus as the arbiter of justice. It is practically helpful to pastors, parents, and youth. I highly commend her brilliant work to launch “The Gospel Way” Series of solid Christian literature written by Asians for Asians.”

- Rt Revd Dr Christopher Chia, Synod Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Singapore, Senior Pastor of Adam Road Presbyterian Church

"When Woke Goes Broke is a compass for Christians navigating today's wild world of political wokeism and social issues. Suzanne Choo shows us how to be bridge builders reflecting the love of Christ. It is hopeful, while tackling tough questions, reiterating God's righteous justice and love for all creation. This book will certainly help us interpret our complex times through a biblical lens and God’s metanarrative. A must-read for a genuine spiritual awakening!"

- Dr Goh Wei-Leong, Co-Founder, HealthServe; Global Board, OM International & Chairman, Mercy Teams International
"A clear analysis of wokeism and a helpful framework to understand it at work and how a Christian ought to approach it redemptively for a Christ-centric missional ethic. When Woke Goes Broke is a useful and accessible resource for Christian pastors, leaders, and practitioners of justice work which I commend heartily." - Elder Ronald J.J. Wong, National Coordinator (Micah Singapore); Board Chairman, Bless Community Services
